Research Assistant

Data, Algorithms and Society Lab, Lehigh University — with Dr. Eric Baumer

  • Synthesized qualitative research findings into product recommendations, informing UX specifications for search, filtering, navigation, and information architecture across a repository of 3,800+ legal case files.
  • Designed interview protocols, thematically coded and analyzed 40+ semi-structured interviews and think-aloud usability sessions with stakeholders at all levels to uncover workflows, pain points, and information needs.
  • Translated user needs into a semantic search tool shipped and integrated with Dropbox, and communicated evidence-based insights to cross-functional teams to improve adoption (peer-reviewed at CSCW '26).

Global Social Impact Fellow

Save Tuba, Lehigh University

  • Led end-to-end qualitative research for Save Tuba (a sustainability education app) by executing and synthesizing 6 focus groups with 30+ users across Kazakh- and Russian-medium schools during field deployment in Kazakhstan.
  • Translated field research into new gamification and inquiry-based learning features for the product roadmap.
  • Localized content and features for a multilingual, cross-cultural user base (first author, Best Paper Award at GHTC '23).

Summer 2025

Research Intern — Ruhr Fellowship

Technical University of Dortmund, Germany

  • Designed a cross-cultural comparative study (Ruhr, Lehigh, Silicon Valley) to understand the well-being needs of entrepreneurs, and synthesized 50+ academic papers to inform a theoretical framework and a grant submission.
  • Recruited and interviewed 10 participants via snowball sampling and cold outreach, then analyzed interview transcripts and synthesized findings for diverse academic and institutional stakeholders.

Remote Research Assistant

Cornell University, Information Science — with Dr. Nicola Dell

  • Analyzed and thematically coded 28 multilingual interviews (Hindi, Marathi, and English) with teachers and management to uncover how teachers built different types of support systems to combat stress.
  • Co-developed the study's theoretical framework; first author and presenter at ACM COMPASS '23.

  • Launched the competitive Analyst Program and BA Education Series for 50 students, and secured 3 of 6 pitched clients.
  • Planned the Annual Lehigh Consulting Summit (record 130 attendees) and established new sponsorship and partnerships.
